Give rides to seniors

Circuit Rider Community Services seeks people for its volunteer driver program, which provides free rides to Windsor-area residents 60 years old and up. The program match drivers with riders and provides gas reimbursement. There is no minimum time commitment. A background check, driver’s license in good standing and auto insurance are required.

Become a senior peer counselor

Guerneville’s West County Community Services seeks people at least 55 years old to become senior peer counselors. Volunteers provide one-on-one support to seniors, meeting with clients weekly for 12 weeks. With additional training, volunteers may also co-facilitate a weekly support group.
