


Repeat Thefts Arrest: On Jan. 17 at around 10:40 a.m. officers responded to the area of Cross Street and McKinley Avenue for a GPS notification for a stolen e-scooter out of the UC Davis area. Officers arrived and contacted 37-year-old Adam Johnson of Woodland. Johnson was on searchable probation and had a history of possessing stolen property. At Johnson’s home, not only did officers locate the stolen e-scooter, but a total of 18 e-scooters in various states of disrepair. Johnson has multiple theft convictions in his criminal history. Johnson was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail for possession of stolen property, a probation violation, and theft with prior convictions.
Proposition 36 Drug Arrest: On Jan. 17 at around 4:34 p.m., officers responded to a business in the area of the 200 block of California Street for a trespassing call. Officers arrived and contacted 46- year-old Deandre Mur of Woodland. Mur was searchable due to terms ordered by the court. Mur was searched by the officers, and they located methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Mur has multiple drug-related convictions in his criminal history. During the investigation, Mur threatened to harm officers. Mur was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail for violation of a court order, delaying officers, possession of a controlled substance, and a drug arrest with multiple prior convictions.
Repeat Thefts Arrest: On Jan. 20 at 6:55 p.m., officers responded to a business on the 400 block of Pioneer Avenue for shoplifting. Officers arrived and contacted 39-year-old Moses Uribe of Woodland. Uribe was identified as the person who stole items from the store. Uribe has multiple theft convictions in his criminal history. Uribe was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail for shoplifting and theft with prior convictions.
Gun Arrest: On Jan. 21 at around 12:12 a.m., officers were conducting a patrol through a business on the 300 block of West Main Street and saw an occupied vehicle with no license plates. While contacting the occupants, one of the passengers fled from the vehicle. The passenger was not located by additional officers responding to the location. Officers contacted the driver, 34-year-old John Ibarra of Woodland. Ibarra had a local misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. Ibarra was released with a notice to appear. The remaining passenger in the vehicle, 45-year-old Christopher Moore of Sacramento, was on searchable probation. During a search, a firearm was found in Moore’s possession. Moore was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail for firearms charges and a probation violation.

HOST made 58 contacts and offered services to 20 individuals, 9 accepted services. HOST tagged 10 camps and cleaned up 9. HOST conducted 7 downtown patrols.
HOST has heard complaints from community members about the use of exterior outlets at businesses. At the same time, unhoused individuals have expressed unavailability of charging options to keep their devices powered. One of the HOST officers handed out solar power banks that were donated to the police department. These power bank chargers will allow the users to keep in touch with family members and access to resources without unnecessarily plugging into business outlets and potentially causing damage.
