


A 20-year-old Eastpointe man is facing several charges after an alleged altercation with a St. Clair Shores business owner on Saturday.
Daveon Jahmel Goldbold is charged with aggravated assault, unarmed robbery, resisting and obstructing a police officer, malicious destruction of property and delivering/manufacturing marijuana.
According to St. Clair Shores police, officers responded to a call from Amigos Street Tacos, located at 22428 Greater Mack, at 7:07 p.m. on April 12 indicating a robbery was in progress.
The business owner told police he was assaulted by a Door Dash driver after a verbal argument ensued. Godbold allegedly tried to grab the Door Dash food but was refused by the business owner. He then allegedly assaulted the Amigos Street Tacos owner and damaged a window in the restaurant.
Godbold left the restaurant, then returned with another male. The owner told police he was then assaulted by both Godbold and the other man.
St Clair Shores Police conducted a traffic stop near the restaurant at which time Godbold was taken into custody.
He was arraigned in 40th District Court on April 15 where Magistrate Theodore Metry issued a $25,000 personal bond with GPS tether and The defendant received a $100,000 cash or surety interim Magistrate Metry. Magistrate Metry issued a $25,000 personal bond with a GPS tether.
A probable cause hearing is scheduled for April 22, 8:30 a.m. in the courtroom of Judge Joseph Oster.
