28th Street improvements — Pearl to Iris: Intermittent lane closures for intersection work at the 28th Street/Glenwood Drive intersection. Southbound right lane closure on 28th Street from Valmont Road to Spruce Street. Southbound right-turn lane closure on 28th Street north of Glenwood Drive, through April 17. Eastside multi-use path closure on 28th Street from Pearl Street to Mapleton Avenue through Monday.

19th Street and Fourmile Canyon Creek Underpass: Northbound 19th Street will be closed to all travel between Sumac and Upland. Vehicle/RTD service detour via Quince. Work is anticipated to end Wednesday.

Picea Townhomes Development: To accommodate wet utility installations, intermittent single lane road closures will occur on Spruce and 26th from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. through Monday.

U.S. 36 curb ramp replacement: This project will improve existing curb ramps, push buttons and signals, gutters and sidewalks. 24/7 single lane closures and shoulder closures within each working area will take place from7 a.m.-5 p.m. Curb ramps will be temporarily inaccessible while upgrades are being made. The project is expected to last until May 31.

WT excavating: Phased road closures along Ponca and Pawnee from Sioux to Thunderbird will take place so crews can perform a water main relocation. Work will occur from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. through Aug. 5.

Boulder County

Colo. 119 safety, mobility and bikeway construction: CDOT work on Colo. 119 / Diagonal Highway. This project is anticipated to be completed in spring 2027.

North 119th culvert replacement: North 119th Street will be closed to all travelers in both directions between Oxford and Prospect roads for road maintenance to replace a large culvert structure. Construction and the road closure is anticipated to last through 4 p.m. April 16. Detours will be in place.

Baseline Road closure: Baseline Road will be closed between Cherryvale Road and North 75th Street for a utility relocation project taking place near the Dry Creek Trailhead through Friday.

63rd waterline replacement: 63rd Street is closed between Valmont and Jay roads for the city of Boulder’s waterline replacement project. Work is expected end on April 13.

Erie

Prince Lake Dam rehabilitation: Sema is working on rehabilitation work on the Prince Lake Dam at 111th Street and Flatiron Meadows Boulevard. The project will continue through March and includes rebuilding a section of the dam and installing drainage infrastructure along 111th Street. Work trucks and equipment will use 111th Street for site access, and while no lane closures are planned, drivers may experience brief delays when trucks enter or exit the site.

Vista Ridge concrete repairs: Concrete sidewalk and ADA ramp repairs along Vista Parkway will continue through spring, with intermittent closures and traffic shifts expected. The contractor will remove and replace sections of concrete sidewalk and update ADA ramps throughout the corridor. This work is needed to correct settled and cracked sidewalk panels that have created trip hazards and limited accessibility for residents using mobility devices. Crews will also correct drainage issues caused by uneven grades that lead to puddling and winter icing. Drivers should expect intermittent sidewalk closures, short-term lane shifts and active work zones as crews move through the area. Occasional weekend work will occur throughout the project as weather allows.

Colliers Hill Filing 6: Milling on WCR 5 north of WCR 10 has begun. General roadway work follows Monday through approximately April 10, with single-lane closures and flaggers from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and temporary traffic signals installed as work progresses north.

Xcel Energy electrical installation: Single-lane closures will be in effect on High Street between Evans Street and Cheesman Street weekdays from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Expect flaggers and brief delays at the Evans Street intersection for six to eight weeks.

Airport Drive and alleyway paving: Road base work on Airport Drive has begun with asphalt paving scheduled to follow. Once paving is complete, Airport Drive will reopen. Starting April 9, the alleyway will be resurfaced with concrete, and its reopening will depend on cure time and strength. The goal is to have the Air Park roads paved and operating normally by mid-April. Traffic control and detours will remain in place throughout.

WCR 5 partial closure: WCR 5 is partially closed, and while half of the Erie Singletrack Trailhead entrance will be impacted by construction, access to the trail remains open.
