Clinton River Trail

Due to a washout on the Clinton River Trail in Rochester, the trail has been closed west of the Macomb Orchard Trail and Dequindre Road. Follow the posted detour route.

Dequindre Road, Shelby Twp.

The Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) is continuing to work on the second phase of infrastructure improvements in the area of Dequindre Road between Hamlin Road and Avon Road and Dequindre Road between 23 Mile Road and 24 Mile Road. Dequindre Road is anticipated to open Oct. 25 and Dequindre between 23 Mile Road and 24 Mile Road is anticipated to close starting Oct. 28 through fall of 2025. The Clinton River Trail and Macomb Orchard Trail between Letica Drive and 24 Mile Road will be closed. Drivers are encouraged to follow the posted detours and seek alternate routes when possible. Project consists of installation of new 96-inch water transmission main and is part of GLWA project. Project duration through Dec. 31, 2025.

Garfield Road

Garfield Road between 14 Mile Road and 15 Mile Road in Fraser. The first phase of the project is complete and Garfield Road is fully open to traffic. Replacement of the Harrington Drain is anticipated to take place December 2024 through January 2025. Road reconstruction is anticipated to take place March through August 2025. Project consists of road reconstruction and duration is through August 2025.

Grand River Avenue

In Oakland County, eastbound and westbound Grand River will be closed from Shiawassee to Power Road from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Saturday.

Jefferson Avenue

In Wayne County, eastbound and westbound west Jefferson Avenue will be closed intermittently from Green Street to Springwells from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.

Mound Road

From I-696 to M-59 in Sterling Heights and Warren. The road is open to traffic. There will be intermittent lane closures to complete landscaping and utility work. Final landscaping and restoration work is anticipated to be completed in 2024.

North Blom Drive and Cloverleaf Street

North Blom Drive and Cloverleaf Street in Harrison Township. The road will remain open and traffic will be maintained at all times to allow residents to enter and exit the subdivision. Project consists of road reconstruction and is part of MCDR’s subdivision reconstruction program. Project duration is through Deccember.

I-696

In Oakland County, eastbound I-696 Service Drive will be closed from John R. Road to Couzens Road until mid-December.

I-75

In Wayne County, northbound I-75 will have one lane open from Sibley to Northlane until 5 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County, northbound I-75 will have one lane open from Springwells to Waterman Street from 12 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.

In Wayne County, northbound Springwells ramp to northbound I-75 will be closed from 12 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.

In Wayne County, northbound I-75 will have three lanes open from Springwells to Waterman Street from 6 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.

I-94

In Wayne County, westbound I-94 ramp to southbound Merriman will be closed from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday and Sunday.

In Wayne County, westbound I-94 ramp to northbound Merriman will be closed from noon-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

In Wayne County, eastbound and westbound I-94 will be closed at Haggerty near I-275 from 12 a.m.-4 a.m. Tuesday for cable crossing.

M-1 (Woodward)

In Wayne County, northbound M-1 will have two lanes open from I-75 Service Drive to Mack from 12 a.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Friday overnights.

In Wayne County, southbound M-1 will have one lane open from I-75 Service Drive to Mack from 12 a.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Friday overnights.

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound M-1 will have two lanes open from Tennyson Avenue to Boston Boulevard from 8 a.m. Monday until late December.

In Wayne County, northbound M-1 from Warren to Mack will have two lanes open until late December except for special events.

M-19

In Macomb County, northbound and southbound M-19/Main Street will be closed near Armada Ridge from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Saturday.

M-24

In Oakland County, northbound and southbound M-24/Washington will be closed from Market Street to Burdick Street from 1-2 p.m. Saturday.

M-59

In Oakland County, eastbound and westbound M-59 will be closed from Woodward Avenue to Perry Street from 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.

M-102 (8 Mile Road)

In Oakland and Wayne counties, westbound M-102 will have two lanes open from Southfield Road to Lahser Road until June 2025.

M-150/Rochester Road

In Oakland County, northbound and southbound M-150 will be closed from 2nd Street to Tienken Road from 1-5 p.m. Sunday.

US-24 BR

In Oakland County, northbound and southbound US-24 BR/Ceasar Chavez will be closed from Cass Avenue to Woodward from 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.
