Michigan Veteran Homes at Chesterfield Township (MVHCT) is seeking monetary donations to support the charitable support fund which is used to enhance the quality of life for veteran members. The home is also seeking in-kind donations such as new seasonal clothing, snacks, tickets for performances and sporting events and DVD players. These items can be brought to the main entrance of the home. Ortonville VFW Post and Brandon Care Bears host 5th annual ‘Wreaths Across Ortonville’ Saturday, Dec. 14
In conjunction with Wreaths Across America Day, Ortonville VFW Post 582 and the Brandon Care Bears are hosting wreath placements on veterans’ graves, at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Ortonville Cemetery at 175 N. Ortonville Road, and at Seymour Lake Cemetery at 3063 S. Sashabaw Road, Oxford.
