The Nonprofit Network invites local nonprofit staff and the community at large to a free virtual workshop focused on nonprofits and volunteer stewardship.
According to ENN, more than 4,000 volunteers engage local nonprofits each year, totaling $8.2M* in value. Nate Brockert’s virtual workshop, Engaging and Supporting Volunteers, will help those nonprofits gain a deeper understanding of their organization’s volunteer stewardship practices.
The educational event is free for Estes Valley nonprofit staff and volunteers, and costs $50 for community members, non-local nonprofits, and for-profits.
Brockert will help staff design methods for keeping volunteers engaged, keep a thriving and growing group of volunteers, and keep that group aligned with a nonprofit’s mission. He’ll spend time during the virtual workshop teaching how to work through the challenging relationships that can exist between volunteers and organizations.
The event is scheduled to run from 9 to 11 a.m. on June 17. Register on the Estes Nonprofit Network website. The final deadline for registration is Friday, June 13.
