Noteworthy: The University of Notre Dame commit was the area’s top girls performer at the CIF State Track and Field Championships. She reached the podium with a third-place finish in the girls long jump. McGuiness this season won the Rio Hondo League title in the long jump and finished second at the CIF-SS Division 3 finals. McGuiness had a personal best of 20 feet, 4 inches at the Division 3 prelims.
