The Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley will benefit from an auction at the Ontario Reign hockey team’s March 16 game at Toyota Arena in Ontario.

For that game, the Ontario Reign will take the ice against the Henderson Silver Knights while wearing jerseys designed for the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley.

The jerseys will be auctioned off the players’ backs immediately following the 3 p.m. game, with the proceeds benefiting the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley, according to a news release.

Game tickets are $20 when purchased directly from the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley and are available now at the Humane Society, 374 W. Orange Show Road, San Bernardino, or by calling 909-386-1400, ext. 218 or ext. 224. Tickets purchased directly from the Humane Society also will benefit the society.

Those who purchase tickets from the Humane Society are also entered for a chance to win a prize package sponsored by All Pro Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electrical. The package includes two spots in the pregame High Five Line, an Ontario Reign scarf, two Ontario Reign player-autographed pucks, a one-year All Pro membership and Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley veterinary clinic gift certificate, according to the news release.

The Humane Society also will sell custom replica jersey Reign T-shirts and sweatshirts. Those can be bought during the game at the Humane Society table.

All funds raised from tickets, T-shirts and sweatshirts bought from the Humane Society, as well as from the jersey auction, will help support the Humane Society’s humane education and cruelty investigation programs.
