TC Line hypocrisy

Everything you said not to do is being done on the TC Line. Why aren’t you fact checking what people say before you advertise it? You’re no better than the rest of the people in the world with misinformation, causing all this infighting and violence. Stop being a hypocrite. Do what’s honest and right.

Representative democracy

I just wanted to recognize the fact that yes, the U.S. is a republic and that a republic is representative democracy. Nobody has to write that any place because most people know that that’s what a republic is.

Gov. Walz

• This is about “Ignored news.” I’m not sure what kind of fantasyland you’re living in, but the AP (reported that) Tim Walz served a total of 24 years in various units and jobs in the Army National Guard, which is a part of the military. You need to get your news from somewhere else or learn how to fact-check things.

• Please, people, when you put out things about Gov. Walz, would you please fact-check yourself? It disgusts me that people would question anybody’s service record. It’s just beyond belief.

TC coverage

I hope the Times-Call does not conclude that (its) lack of … covering Kamala Harris and Gov. Walz’s campaign for the presidency means that (Harris) will lose. (She) won’t. (She’s) going to win.

Required reading

I believe that all people running for public office should be required to read the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights — and thereafter be required that all office holders be required to read the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights yearly.

No customer service

I’m calling because I did not get my paper on Monday, Aug. 5. There was a specific article on the front page that I really wanted. I called the Times-Call, was able twice to get a real person, believe it or not. They both promised me I would get it the next day, along with my other paper. It’s like talking to the wind, because it never happened. They keep raising prices, but there is no customer service anymore and nobody to help you when you have this issue. But they sure want your check every month.

Right and left

Why are Republicans called the right and Democrats called the left? … Ecclesiastes Chapter 10, Verse 2 says, “A wise man’s heart is at his right hand; but a fool’s heart at his left.”
