Rozel W. Beatty Jr., 89, passed away on May 16, 2017 in Medina. He was born on March 21, 1928 in Columbus to Rozel W. Sr. and Lilly Catherine (nee Robertson) Beatty.
Rozel proudly served his country in The United States Air Force. He cherished his position as an executive with American Building Materials in Wadsworth. Rozel married the love of his life, Dorothy J. (nee Morrison). He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling.
Rozel will be dearly missed by his children, Debbie Smith, Robert (Pat), Glen, Gary, Kevin and Rozel Jr.; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter-in-law, Teresa Beatty; and many siblings.
Inurnment with military honors, Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, Ohio. Please meet at cemetery entrance 15 minutes prior to Service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services.
