I hope Medina County doesn't investigate my Russian friends
Letter to the Editor
To the Editor:

Confessions from a guy who builds oil field equipment in Medina County.

I thank the courts for recently denying the charter people. I want to keep the great people like we have now in power; Mayor Hanwell and all our great county commissioners. We don’t need the rivers and trees calling the shots. The court decision is a great, good thing.

Yes. I have known my Russian friend, Boris Chuprikov, for more than 20 years. Boris was the Russian ambassador to the United Nations in the ’90s. I also knew Victor Matkov, a KGB partner with then KGB V. Putin in the ’90s.

I hope Medina County does not create investigations into my Russian friends.

I think this would be costly and only prove I might have connections to the Russians.

My Russian friends are great. I remember meeting Boris again in Cleveland right after 9/11. Boris was stuck here and screaming at the TV. “Muslims…Muslims” are evil. Boris knew who blew up New York. He still is my friend and on our side. Same with Victor.

I am very fortunate to have lots of friends in many parts of the world. This has taught me we all are God’s people. We’re just trying to earn a living and raise our families.

Today our enemies are really Congress and Washington D.C. Both parties only care about themselves. When the swamp is drained, let all the Republicans and Democrats lose out to new Americans that want what’s best for America.

As a matter of fact, how about a constitutional amendment to severely limit Congress’s lavish pensions?

Why do we need Congress interfering in our personal health care? It’s none of their business. Let us buy whatever we need. Not what stupid Congress thinks.

Every business in Medina County is great for Medina and America. Tell the Washington Congress to go away. All we need is lower taxes and to be free to choose our own health care. Make the military strong to keep us all safe. Thanks for listening
