William M. Bazemore, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 27, 2016. He was born in Canton, N.C. on Nov. 26, 1939, to the late Martin B. and Evelyn R. (Cagle) Bazemore.

Bill honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was in sales all of his professional career, representing various companies before his retirement. Bill accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1975, and followed Him for the remainder of his days. He was quick to communicate the Peace of Christ that he experienced throughout his homegoing journey. Bill was a very active 40-year member at Weymouth Community Church where he held positions as elder, chairman of the board, missions committee and deacon. Bill was also an active citizen, sharing not only his political knowledge but passionately sharing about God’s design in creation. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid outdoorsman.

Bill is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra (Sutton) Bazemore; sons, Mark (Mindy) Bazemore, Matthew (Debra) Bazemore, Michael (Caryn) Bazemore; grandchildren, Hannah, Luke, Emma, Madeline, Kaelyn and Hudson Bazemore; and sister, Vicky (Dick) Coleman.

A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at Weymouth Community Church, 3398 Old Weymouth Road, Medina, OH 44256. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

An interment with military honors will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville in the spring.
