Charles C. Artrip, 81, of Medina, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Nov. 20, 2016. He was born on July 11, 1935 to the late Edward and Ola Lee (nee Vanhoose) Artrip.

Charles will be remembered for his love of bluegrass music, using his hands to create music with the banjo, wood-working and especially spending time with his family.

He will be deeply missed by his loving children, Teresa (Jim) Conlon, Tereva Lambert, Dave (Barb) Artrip, Brian (Lizz) Artrip and Scott (Melissa) Artrip; 14 treasured grandchildren; and two cherished great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ethel; two brothers and two sisters.
