Paige Yu from Medina Gymnastics Academy traveled to Lansing, Mich., to represent Region 5 at the Level 9 Eastern National Championships. She competed against other Level 9 gymnasts from the eastern United States. This was Yu’s first time to make the national team and she earned her spot by earning first place all around at the regional event. At nationals, Yu placed third on bars, earning a personal best score of 9.525. This accomplishment marks the end of her fifth competitive season.
