Dorothy J. Bowles
Dorothy J. Bowles, 93, of Medina, passed away Aug. 12, 2017. She was born April 1, 1924, to the late James and Anna (nee Millar) Atkinson. Prior to moving to Medina, she lived in Aurora for 31 years. Dorothy was a 70-plus year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved music and greatly enjoyed dancing throughout her lifetime.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Susan Lowe; her nephew, Mark Atkinson; and many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Frank M. Bowles; her three brothers; and her three sisters.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607 or Crossroads Hospice, 9775 Rockside Road, Suite 270, Valley View, OH 44125.
