SHARON TOWNSHIP – On March 8, the Sharon Township Board of Zoning Appeals met for a work session to review minutes, permits and activity reports.

At its March 22 meeting, the BZA approved the request of Richard Limperos for Ferrell Whited Physical Therapy Services, LLC for a physical therapy office at 784 Medina Road.

The BZA gave Michael and Susan Adams the green light to construct a building in front of the rear building line on the property located at 6535 Boneta Road, Medina..

The request of Rebecca Rocco to vary the minimum lot width of 200 feet at the building line on the property located at 2436 Hearth Hill Lane was approved.

Zoning commission

The zoning commission met March 16, at which time members reviewed and approved minutes, went over zoning activity and started the review to update the comprehensive plan.

The last update of the plan was in 2009.

Zoning activity

Zoning Inspector Neil Jones and Assistant Zoning Inspector Melissa Hydel issued permits for three new homes, one addition, one porch, two accessory buildings and one subdivision entrance sign. They issued one variance and one conditional application and signed two lot splits.

Bob Turek, township maintenance supervisor, issued 15 permits for town hall rentals.
