SHARON CENTER – Approximately 250 people were on hand July 12 at Sharon Circle Park to hear the Charita Franks Band, a group of professional musicians from northeast Ohio. This pop/rock band plays all genres of music, such as Motown, jazz, blues, country, rock n roll and soul.
Lead vocalist Charita Franks is well-known as a “high energy performer, who is passionate about her music.” She did not disappoint, as she sang “At Last,” “Crazy,” “Happy,” “Spooky,” and many others. The rest of the band members are Anthony Watson, Sr., drums; Chris Conway, bass; Joe Leaman, keyboard, and Dennis Vargo, guitar.
