Troop 508 is proud to welcome Brian Pattison to the rank of Eagle Scout. Pattison began his journey through scouting as a Tiger Cub. He skipped a couple years of scouting during grade school, but he later found his place as a founding member of Troop 508. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to achieve the honored rank of Eagle Scout.
Becoming an Eagle Scout requires exemplary commitment to service, leadership and scout spirit. Pattison has exemplified these traits as both a scout and in his everyday life. For Pattison’s Eagle Scout project, he planned, raised funds and supervised the construction of a gaga ball pit at his church, Medina Community Church. This contribution is a gift that church youth will enjoy for years to come.
Pattison is about to start his freshman year at Baldwin Wallace University. He plans to study music education, which will come as no surprise to those who know him. Pattison has been a trombone section leader in marching band and has participated in both the Cleveland and Akron youth orchestras for the past several years. He would like to thank his parents and the adults and scouts of Troop 508 for their support during his journey.
