Grace A. Eyerdom, 89, passed away on May 7, 2017. She was born in Cleveland on Oct. 31, 1927, to the late August and Anne (Rising) Scholz. Grace worked as a bookkeeper for their family business, Granger Gardens. She was a longtime member of Remsen Christian Church and the African Violet Society. Grace loved gardening, but cherished her family most of all.

She is survived by her son, Edward (Linda) Eyerdom; daughter-in-law, Yasuyo Eyerdom; grandsons, Andrew Gedeon (Rebecca), William (Lynzie) Eyerdom, Timothy (Sarah) Eyerdom; brothers, Jack (MaryAnn) Scholz, Don Scholz; and sister, Janet (John) Sours.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Dale F. Eyerdom; son, James Eyerdom; and brothers, Norman Scholz and Raymond Scholz.

Private family services will be held. Interment will be held at Granger Fairview Cemetery in Granger.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Remsen Christian Church, 1500 Remsen Road, Medina, Ohio 44256.
