Highland Middle School students in Anna Taylor’s math classes celebrated Pi Day recently with the Pi Digits Memorization Contest. Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π (pi). Congratulations to the following winners who each received a pie: first place, eighth-grader Chloe Cleland (127 digits); second place, eighth-grader Collin Spittle (83 digits); and third place, seventh-grader Heather Brickman (79 digits, not pictured).
