Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center welcomes Ginny Texter
She will spearhead Bell Chapter of the Hawkins Foundation
AKRON – Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center is pleased to announce its collaborative partnership with the Hawkins Foundation and welcomes Ginny Texter in her role as the new Bell Chapter’s research coordinator.

The Bell Chapter was named in honor of Dr. Robert Bell, who specialized in shoulder surgery at Crystal Clinic for more than 30 years.

Texter joined the Hawkins Foundation’s Bell Chapter at Crystal Clinic in October 2016.

As a research coordinator, she will be coordinating and executing orthopaedic research projects made possible with funding from the Hawkins Foundation.

Her background includes more than 20 years of experience in radiography. For the past five years, she has worked in various education-related capacities with Austen Bioinnovation Institute in Akron (ABIA) and Akron Children’s Hospital.

Texter earned a bachelor’s degree in curriculum and instructional design and a master’s degree in assessment and evaluation, both from the University of Akron.
