Medina Police
April 1 – Police received a report of a male and female arguing in a moving vehicle. Police report, while arguing, the male drove the vehicle onto a tree lawn. Robert E. Morgan, 38, of Concord Drive, was arrested for domestic violence and OVI.
Medina Police
April 3 – Police responded to an Abbeyville Road address on a report of an unconscious male. Upon an officer’s arrival, the male was alert and advised he was OK.
April 3 – A man at a Springbrook Drive address called police because he was concerned about residents of the apartment complex smoking outside. He said the smoke blows into his apartment. The man was advised residents are allowed to smoke outside and if he wants the smoke to stop, he should close his windows.
April 3 – Police assisted staff at the hospital with a combative patient at 7:12 p.m.
April 3 – Police were called to a disturbance on West Washington Street at 3:38 p.m. A male was unhappy about receiving a parking ticket.
April 3 – Police took a report for a dog bite at an Ivy Hill Lane address at 9:40 a.m. The report was forwarded to the health department.
April 3 – A man sleeping in the public restroom on Public Square was advised to leave the area at 2:05 a.m.
April 2 – A juvenile was charged with theft after change, a soft drink and a GPS device were reported stolen from a motor vehicle at a Walnut Drive address.
April 2 – Police were called to a North Court Street motel after a male was causing issues and refused to leave. Police took the man to another motel.
April 2 – Jessica M. Hawk, 29, of Lafayette Road, was arrested in Akron by state troopers for an outstanding Medina warrant at 12:21 a.m. Hawk was transported to Medina County Jail.
April 2 – Police received a report of three juveniles pulling on doors of closed businesses in the area of West Liberty Street at 12:17 a.m. An officer made contact with the group, one of which was an adult. Both juveniles were cited for curfew violations and one was charged with underage consumption of alcohol.
April 1 – Police took a report after a truck turfed some grass at Ken Cleveland Park on Sturbridge Drive at 11:04 p.m.
April 1 – Police responded to a South Court Street address at 10:30 a.m. after a 53-year-old male was found dead.
March 31 – Multiple Howard Street residences were reportedly egged sometime in the evening. Police took a report.
March 31 – Police responded to a disturbance at a Lafayette Road residence and arrested Atwine D. Taylor, 24, of Cleveland, on a Medina warrant for assault.
March 31 – Police responded to a Lafayette Road address to conduct a welfare check on a 57-year-old man that was not heard from in over a week by family members. Officers discovered the man was deceased due to what appeared to be natural causes.
March 31 – Police responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of a Lafayette Road apartment complex at 4:27 a.m. Jessica M. Ross, 24, of Brunswick, was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct.
March 30 – Police were called after a 2-year-old was seen walking down the sidewalk alone along West Washington Street at 6:05 p.m. Parents came to retrieve the child from the sidewalk.
March 30 – Police responded to a Lafayette Road address at 4:12 a.m. after multiple 911 calls from the residence were placed and then hung up. The female caller advised there was an unsafe situation and she could not talk. Eventually, officers made contact with the occupants and were unable to substantiate any domestic violence claims. However, one occupant, Richard M. Umble, 39 of Wadsworth Road, was arrested for obstruction in addition to a Wayne County warrant.
March 30 – Timothy J. Adamini, 37, of Cleveland was arrested for domestic violence at 1:06 a.m. while reportedly trespassing at a West Union Street address. Previous convictions made the DV charge a felony.
March 29 – Police responded to a disturbance at a Springbrook Drive address and arrested Jameira C. Bell, 21, on domestic violence and resisting arrest.
Medina Township Police
April 2 – Police were called to a Medina Road bar at 1:11 a.m. and reportedly found a 23-year-old Sheffield Lake man threatening and fighting other patrons. William R. Muller was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was transported to the jail.
March 29 – Police were called to an Eastpointe Drive bar after a 39-year-old male reportedly left without paying his $48 bar tab. An officer located the man at a nearby hotel and transported him back to the restaurant where he paid his tab. The man was reportedly very intoxicated and thought he paid his tab prior to leaving. He was given a ride back to the hotel.
March 23 – Police took a report at a South Weymouth Road address in reference to ongoing issues between neighbors.
