Robert Emmett Lively, 73, of Montville Township, passed away on May 8, 2017. He was born on July 27, 1943 in Queens, N.Y. to the late Bernard and Beatrice (nee Morgan) Lively.

Robert was retired from the United States Navy as a master chief E9 in aviation ordinance after 26 years of service. He received a bachelor’s degree in business from the National University of California. Robert was also a master scuba diver. He had a passion for animals, watching movies and loved his previous home in Spencer.

He will be dearly missed by his wife of 36 years, Kathie Ann (nee Prince); and is survived by his sons, Robert Jr., Sean and Michael; and his dog, Angel.

He was preceded in death by his previous dogs, Sheeba, Chelsea, Cayla, Chyna, Charlie and Pumpkin.

Inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
