If Gardenview were to stop thriving it would be a loss

To the Editor:
Please help. We recently visited the Gardenview Horticultural Gardens, a serene oasis known to few in our area. Henry Ross spent his entire life developing this garden with his dog at his side. It looks like it is in financial stress and I am hoping someone can draft a grant, get colleges to bring students to observe nature and all it’s mystery or, in some way, find an avenue to keep this treasure thriving.

When Henry was alive there would hardly be a plant out of place, the lily ponds were sprinkled with color, the trees all standing at attention. It’s not quite that way any longer. There is a charming library being built that looks like it has been left uncompleted. In all the uncertainty of these times, it is a blessing to be able to walk in calmness and observe the butterflies, try to find a frog in the lily garden or just marvel at all the species that coexist in Henry’s garden. I don’t have an answer, but I hope someone does. It would be such a loss to see it thrive no longer.
