GRANGER TOWNSHIP – When the Granger Township Zoning Commission met Feb. 7, members reviewed the proposed text amendment changes to the general provisions section of the zoning resolution regarding a number of changes governing accessory buildings, junk yards, junk cars and the definition of the word “pavement.”

The zoning commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. March 7, at the township administration building, 3717 Ridge Road.

At that time, a date will be set for a public hearing to address the aforementioned issues.

The board of zoning appeals will meet March 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Zoning office activity

Zoning Inspector Bill Myerhoff issued permits for two new homes, one commercial building and one sign. He also signed three lot splits. Zoning office hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 to 11 a.m., excluding holidays. Telephone is 330-239-3611.
