WADSWORTH – The Blue Tip is a five-day festival filled with excitement for all ages, but there is one special day where kids ages 12 and under will be treated to a magical world of knights and princesses.

KidsLand, which is sponsored by Mosaic Northeast Ohio, will take place at the fairgrounds Wednesday, June 21 from 1 to 8 p.m.

The event will include knights, princesses, jesters, a giant castle, a smoke-breathing dragon and many more attractions.

“Every year it has gotten bigger,” said JP Hanna of Mosaic. “We handed out all 700 of our free items we had for kids last year, so we expect a lot of kids especially if it is good weather.”

Sponsors include Asian Sun Martial Arts, All Creatures Veterinary Clinic, KinderCare and Home Depot.

“We will have face painters, kids can jump the moat and we will have a dunk tank where kids can dunk some of the jesters,” Hanna said.

The event will also include a bounce house and Home Depot will be helping kids do crafts that they can take home.

“What’s great is it is totally free so parents can breathe easy letting their kids have a blast without having to pull out their wallets,” Hanna said.
