We believe Fred Bougher is the best qualified candidate

To the Editor:
We have not known Fred Bougher for 30 years, but for only about two weeks since we met him and his lovely wife, Barb, at a recent outing. Now, after meeting the Boughers, our only regret is not having known them for those 30 years.
Fred is a Republican candidate for Medina Municipal Judge and is in our shared opinion, the most qualified based on experience alone. A local product, graduate of Wadsworth High and The University of Akron and a resident of Medina, Mr. Bougher started his public service as a police officer here in our county while attending law school and earning his degree. A local private law practice for many years followed and then he continued to expand his experience by working for a major health care manufacturing company at a senior management level as their counsel both locally and nationally.
Fred is the only candidate to have actually served as a presiding judge in a courtroom, doing so on the very same bench in Medina Municipal Court where he hopes to be elected to in November. Thereby, gaining immense on-the-job experience that now paired with his law enforcement, private practice and corporate law background, has prepared him well to execute the duties as Judge of Municipal Court in a smooth and seamless manner.
In speaking with him personally and asking others who have known him much longer, a constant about him is that he is very even keeled. By that, I mean he listens intently and processes his thoughts carefully to come to the best conclusion and decision.
We believe Fred Bougher is not only the best qualified candidate on the Republican ticket, but that he possesses a strong moral compass that cannot be taught, but is ingrained in one’s soul.
