Black River senior Jonathan Meredith, and freshmen Devon McLean and Nathan Jackson (pictured left to right) participated in the Mohican District Science Fair on March 25. The fair was sponsored by the Ohio Academy of Sciences and hosted by Ashland University. Meredith’s project, “Effect of Paddle Size and Speed on the Formation of Half-Ring Vortices” received an Excellent rating; and Jackson and McLeans’s project, “Effect of Crumple Size on Average Force During Collisions” received a Superior mark and qualified them for the state science fair in Columbus on May 13.
