Geraldine Mae Beebe, 83, of Medina, passed away March 18, 2017. She was born in Sheboygan, Wis. on Dec. 22, 1933 to the late William and Jeanette (Degenhardt) Vetsch.

Geraldine was a teacher in her earlier years and she was a volunteer at the Medina Hospital Gift Shop for over 20 years. She and her husband loved to travel, camping when they were first married and more recently vacationing in their motorhome. Geraldine loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Geraldine is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Donald J. Beebe; dear children, Kathy (Jon) Myers, David (Luanne) Beebe and Michael Beebe; loving grandchildren, Christopher (Shere’) Myers, Matthew Myers, Jacqueline (James) Berger and Erica and Jack Beebe; cherished great-grandchildren Caleb, Elliana, Annika, Gabriella and Austin; and her brother, Wayne (Barbara) Vetsch.

She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, William and Norma Vetsch.

Private family services will be held with burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Findlay, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Geraldine’s name to the United Church of Christ Congregational, 217 E. Liberty St., Medina, OH 44256.
