More than 260 students participated in the 2017 Medina County Solo and Ensemble Festival Jan. 28 at Buckeye High School.
BHS Band Director Greg King and BHS Choir Director Pam Haberkorn served as festival coordinators. Ohio Music Education Association qualified adjudicators gave performance ratings and verbal comments to students participating in the event.
The festival was held with the support of Buckeye Local Education Association; Denise T. Pozderac Revocable Trust/Transitional Living Centers; Kerricook Construction, Inc.; Romeo’s Pizza; Royalton Music Center; Valley City VFW Post 5563; and community patrons. This event was coordinated by the Educational Service Center of Medina County and hosted by Buckeye Local School District.
