We need Bougher’s common sense approach in our courts

To the Editor:
For the first time since 1987, Republicans have a real chance to win the Medina Municipal Judge seat back. I am delighted that we have such a highly qualified Republican candidate in Fred Bougher and I am asking you to vote for him on May 2.
I have known Fred and his family for over 30 years and have always respected Fred’s strength with family and his real concerns for the people of Medina County and his dedication in representing and carrying out the laws of the state of Ohio.
Some quick facts:
• Fred is the only Republican candidate who has served as acting Medina Municipal Court Judge over the past 25 years and presided on thousands of cases.
• Fred is the only candidate who was a Medina police officer and attained the rank of Sergeant.
• Fred is the only candidate who was a partner in the prestigious Laribee Law firm.
• Fred is the only candidate who has true project and business experience by leading Commercial Credit and Collections for an Ohio global corporation.
• Fred is the only candidate who has served on the Medina City Civil Service Commission.
Fred’s life and career experiences have molded his values and standards for determining the disposition and support of those who come before the court as the judge. The Medina Municipal Court jurisdiction has changed dramatically in the last 10 years with the increase in population and we need Fred’s level-headed, common sense approach to address the issues of the administration of the court. His experience makes Fred the right choice in this important Republican primary.
We need Fred to lead the Medina Municipal Court as the judge with new ideas in managing a fiscally responsible transition to an updated court facility, managing today’s difficult cases and decisions that come before the court and managing the growing administrative services.
