Fidelia Wolf
Fidelia Jane Griesmer Weininger Wolf went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ March 6, 2018. Joy and peace are hers forever!
Born July 7, 1920, in Wadsworth to Harry and Clara Griesmer, Jane was predeceased by her parents, her four siblings (Joe, George, Sam and Ruth), and beloved husbands, John A. Weininger (d. 1973) and Ivan Wolf (d. 1994). She is survived by her four children, Jane Anne Connell, John A. Weinger, Penny L. Weininger and Danial A. Weininger; stepsons, Roger Wolf and David Wolf; 11 grandchildren; nieces, and nephews.
Above all, Jane lived a life of selfless devotion to her family. She modeled faith, compassion, generosity, grit. Her life was seldom easy, certainly no bed of roses; yet, with God’s help, she always persevered.
When her first husband was killed in a plane crash, she learned the lesson of being thankful to God in all circumstances. Being thankful helped her carry on through that devastation, and then through other unimaginable difficulties. Even when there was no earthly reason to do so, she gave God thanks. And peace would come.
“Mother was small in size, but what a rock! She was an anchor, and taught us all how to be better people. What a lady! We all will try to make her proud in every way because she show how a good life is lived. And she will always live in our hearts. Thanks, Ma!”
A graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose, CA. at a later date.
