Every season, accessory designers roll out a new batch of bags, hoping women will embrace a style they haven’t tried before. And they do. Clutches, wristlets, bowling bags. You can’t spend five minutes on the Web without being convinced your style would improve immeasurably if you just had a quince bucket bag big enough to hold a S’well water bottle and your iPhone 6. But here’s the thing: What savvy shoppers want is a bag they don’t have to think about. One that looks great and feels even better. Which brings us to Rebecca Minkoff, a designer who’s made a career out of making cool accessible. She has a heap of great bags this season (don’t even get us started on the Florence Saddle from Minkoff’s Fall 2016 runway show), but the strap is the story. She calls them guitar straps, wide and embroidered, that can be clipped onto a purse and slipped across your body. Comfortable, chic, and, at $95, pretty affordable. Your hands are free, and your style rocks.
