Does online browsing annoy you? Do malls leave you cold? Do you curl into the fetal position when confronted with the notion of holiday shopping?

Never fear: The 30th annual Boston Christmas Festival is almost here. The holiday extravaganza happens at the Seaport World Trade Center from Nov. 4-6, with more than 300 local artisans and craftspeople selling unusual wares.

Unsure what to buy your favorite avian aficionado? Why not a copper-roofed birdhouse from North Attleboro’s Don LaFratta? Need a hostess gift? Snag some high-end wine bags from Wakefield’s Carmen Beaton. For the dad who has everything, how about an airplane mobile made of recycled beer cans? That’s Connecticut native Ron Lazano’s specialty. For kids, there are dolls and wooden toys — and what dapper dog wouldn’t appreciate a stylish reflective coat?

The festival also houses a farmers’ market stocked with jellies, cheeses, honey, chocolates, and other small-batch goodies. And speaking of food — the fest is known for its elaborate gingerbread houses, created by bakers from local restaurants like Davio’s and Grill 23. Proceeds from the houses benefit Housing Families Inc., a non-profit dedicated to ending family homelessness.

Happy shopping.
