Kudos to The Post for the conservative salvo

To the Editor:
It was a pleasure to read page 8 of last week’s Medina Post.

Rarely does one find six consecutive conservative-minded letters to the editor. My thanks to the contributors for their insights and important information conveyed.

Quite a contrast to the Sunday papers’ preference for showcasing liberal-minded letters and op-eds filled with hatred, bumper-sticker-slogans and unsubstantiated facts.

A few comments about hate: Hate is easy, no training required, no reasoning required. Hate brings people together fast and with great fervor.

Certain people enjoy hating. Hate mongers are clever strategists who know how to create and define things that will be perceived as evil and therefore “hate-worthy.”

For some people, perceived evil justifies hatred and violence.

There’s a lot of hate on display out there. Page 8 was a pleasant respite.
