Doug Flutie to compete on ABC’s ‘Dancing’

New England football legend Doug Flutie will be on the next season of “Dancing With the Stars.’’ He’s been paired with Karina Smirnoff, whose previous celebrity dance partners include Mario Lopez, Aaron Carter, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. ABC announced the lineup for the 22nd season of the reality competition Tuesday morning. Flutie’s competition includes Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Von Miller of the Denver Broncos. Also on the list is Kim Fields from “The Facts of Life,’’ talking head Geraldo Rivera, “Fuller House’’ actress Jodie Sweetin, and Donald Trump’s ex, Marla Maples. The season begins March 21.
