The Cape Cod Baseball League is a collegiate summer baseball league that has sent close to 300 players on the big leagues. Jacoby Ellsbury, Nomar Garciaparra, Ron Darling, Matt Wieters, Andrew Miller, Tim Lincecum, Mark Texeira, Barry Zito, and Joe Girardi are among the few big names to pass through its basepaths. Throughout the summer, as the players shack up with host families around the Cape, there will be games in Bourne, Brewster, Chatham, Cotuit, Falmouth, Harwich, Hyannis, Orleans, Wareham and South Yarmouth. If you think Fenway in the summer is an experience, a Cape league game is worth your time.
