To the Editor:
Does anybody salt and shovel their sidewalks anymore? I took my dogs out for a walk and it’s like an ice skating rink. The poor postal and delivery men and women who have to deliver these awkwardly shaped and sized packages are probably slipping and sliding all over the place.

Do us all a favor and prevent a fall; toss some salt down, hire the neighbor kid or do it yourself during this “break a hip weather.”
