For the record

¦ Correction: An article about coffee brewing in today’s Ideas section, which is printed in advance, misstates where the paper was published. It appeared in Nature’s Scientific Reports and was highlighted in the journal Nature.

¦ Correction: Because of an editing error, a feature on Boston’s first police detectives in the May 1 Globe Magazine incorrectly described the place where detectives examined evidence in the murder of Dr. George Parkman. The detectives sifted through ashes in the laboratory of John Webster.

¦ Correction: Because of a reporting error, a Page One story about Bernie Sanders’ campaign in Saturday’s Globe gave an incorrect location where a bird landed on a lectern at a Sanders rally. It occurred in Portland, Ore.

The Globe regrets the errors and welcomes information about errors that call for corrections. Information may be sent to comments@globe.com or left in a message at 617-929-8230.
