MEDINA – Medina Hospital Foundation’s premier BASH (Benefitting A Superior Hospital) gala will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 6 p.m. at Weymouth Country Club, 3946 Weymouth Road, Medina.

The annual event will feature cocktails and gaming, dinner, raffle prize drawings, live music and dancing. Betsy Kling of WKYC-TV3 will serve as mistress of ceremonies.

All proceeds help fund priority patient support projects at Medina Hospital, which in the past have covered prescription and transportation costs for indigent patients, an occupational therapy device that helps with stroke recovery, and more. This is the foundation’s largest fundraiser each year – last year’s event raised more than $100,000 for Cleveland Clinic Children’s and Cardiac Services at Medina Hospital.

The raffle features more than $35,000 in prizes, including a 24-month lease on a Kia Optima donated by Bill Doraty Kia; a loge for Cleveland Cavaliers or Cleveland Monsters games from Bil-Jac Foods; custom pieces of jewelry from Medina Gem Co. and Don Basch Jewelers; tires from North Gateway Tire; an overnight stay at Mountaineer Casino; and much more. Prize winners will be selected at the BASH, but winners do not need to be present.

The party is organized by a volunteer committee and co-chaired by Sharon McFadden and Debbie Garrett. The Signature Sponsors of the event are Medina Hospital, Medina Hospital Medical Staff, and Medina Meadows.

Raffle tickets are $50 each or three for $100 and can be purchased in the Medina Hospital gift shop, the Medina Foundation office, or by contacting Linda Kern at 330-721-5941.

Event tickets are $125 and are available online at giving.ccf.org/mhfbash or by contacting Linda Kern at 330-721-5941 or kern@ccf.org. Groups of eight who wish to purchase tables will receive a discount on the ticket price. All event guests receive one raffle ticket with admission.
