The days of summer break are beginning to dwindle down to the single digits. Are you ready for your kids to hit the books again?

Somehow, no matter your age, summer break always flies by in the blink of an eye.

By the time you’re finally accustomed to your summer schedule, all of a sudden it’s back to packing lunches, after-school band practice three times a week and waking the kids before the sun comes up.

It’s around the moment you ask yourself “where did the time go?” you might start to remember all of the adventures and excursions you meant to do this summer season that you simply didn’t have time to plan.

Don’t worry, because The Post is here to help get in some last-minute fun for you and the family with a contest we’re calling our Back to School Photo Sweepstakes.

We hope to fill two needs with one deed; not only would we like to print your photo(s) of your student(s) on their first day of school for the scrapbook, but we also want to give you an opportunity to take your family to Cedar Point before the season ends!

Simply submit your best back-to-school photo to thepostnewspapers.com/backtoschool by 11:59 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3. One photo chosen at random will be announced in the Sept. 8 edition of The Post – that reader will win a family four-pack of tickets to Cedar Point, a $292 value, good to use from now until the final day of Halloweekends.

Local prizes of a $50 gift certificate to Rinky Dink Family Fun Center in Medina – which includes mini golf, go-karts, bumper boats, batting cages and more – will also be chosen at random from each school district.

With the start of the school year right around the corner, we hope this will be one last chance to get in an afternoon of family fun before the first school bell rings.

Good luck!
