Joan E. Jackson
Joan E. Jackson, 59, of Medina, passed away Feb. 1, 2018. She was born on Nov. 21, 1958 in Lakewood to the late Granville and Violet (nee Odom) Walker.
Joan has resided in Medina County for 30-plus years. She had been a machinist with International Machining Inc. in Brunswick for 20 years. For the past few years, Joan has had the privilege of being the Nanny to her beloved grandchildren. She enjoyed surfing social media to keep up with family and friends.
Joan will be greatly missed by her loving daughter, Ashley (Nick) Gazzo; cherished grandchildren, Luka, Gemma and Amina; dear sister, D.L. (Eileen) Walker; sister-in-law, Tammy (Dan) Bunch; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Jackson, July of 2013; and sister, Janet Walker.
At Joan’s request, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be later with her husband at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
