Robert Joseph McArdle
Robert Joseph McArdle, 79, of Medina, passed away peacefully on Nov. 26, 2017. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa. to the late Robert and Helen (nee Trainor) McArdle.
Bob worked in sales over 30 years, retiring from Old Dominion Trucking. Most recently, he was a starter at Shale Creek Golf Club for 10 years. He will be remembered for being an avid golfer and for his love of fishing and woodworking. He loved telling stories and jokes and will be missed by the many who knew and loved him.
Bob leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 years, Marlene (nee Spevak); his children, Michele (Rob) Law and Robby (Janice) McArdle; his grandchildren, Ian, Alex and Alena Law; his sisters, Ann Kauffman and Helen Benson; faithful companion, Molly; and many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Arntz, Delores O’Shaugnessey and Veronica McArdle.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VA Hospice, Wade Park Campus, 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106.
