Drug charges against chef Tim Maslow stemming from an incident at the Canadian border in February have been dropped. Maslow, the chef-owner of Ribelle in Brookline, was stopped at the border in Vermont Feb. 26, and agents discovered 22.5 pounds of marijuana edibles, a pipe, and another controlled substance. He was charged with felony possession of marijuana. All charges have been dismissed, his attorney David Lipshutz said Monday. Maslow’s father, Paul, owner of Strip-T’s Restaurant in Watertown, confirmed the news with a Strip-T’s Facebook post: “Breaking news from the Vermont police blotter. ALL CHARGES DROPPED AGAINST TIM MASLOW. this is fantastic news, thank you everyone who has supported Tim ! . . . since bad news travels faster than good news, please help spread the news so that my sons reputation can be restored!’’
