MassArt raised more than $1 million at its 27th annual benefit auction over the weekend. The night drew more than 700 collectors to the Bakalar & Paine Galleries. The big-ticket item of the evening was “SA-4 (Dark Side of the Moon West), 2015,’’ a mixed-media work by former MassArt faculty Tomas Vu that went for $33,000.
