Concord gets spicy and Union Square welcomes Celeste

Openings: Peruvian hideaway Celeste is open in Somerville’s Union Square (21 Bow St. at Walnut Street), serving ceviche and more for lunch, dinner, and late-night snacks.

Concord gets spicy with the addition of Adelita (1200 Main St. at Commonwealth Avenue), the latest from Kristin Canty (Woods Hill Table). The restaurant serves pasture-raised meats from Canty’s New Hampshire farm, prepared by Woods Hill chef Charlie Foster. Enjoy chorizo taquitos, carne asada, and margaritas made with fresh lime juice, plus all-organic wines. Canty plans to branch into Boston soon, opening a farm-focused restaurant at the old Anthony’s Pier 4 space in the Seaport.

Coming Soon: Assembly Row has it all: food, shopping, Legos — and, now, bowling. Lucky Strike Social is slated to open on March 29. The 36,000-square-foot space (325 Revolution Dr.) houses a bowling alley, shuffleboard courts, an arcade, a bar, and a restaurant.

As for the food, there’s a little bit of everything. Take a break from 3 Ring Circus to munch Thai mussels, gumbo mac ‘n cheese, and Szechuan sausage flatbread, washed back with a signature Mystic Margarita.

North Easton brunch-and-lunch delight The Farmer’s Daughter soon welcomes a dinner-focused sibling: Towneship, housed in a 150-year-old church just down the block (140 Main St. at Williams Street). Enjoy New England dishes at a chef’s table, beside the fireplace, or al fresco once it gets warmer.

Meanwhile, up north, the team behind Louie’s in Portsmouth, N.H., will open a restaurant at Rye, N.H.’s long-lived Carriage House this spring.

Celebrations: Back Bay’s Select Oyster Bar (50 Gloucester St. at Boylston Street) celebrates its third birthday with a feast on April 3. Enjoy rosé-friendly dishes from Myers + Chang, SRV, haley.henry, and pop-up East Boston Oysters. Dinner starts at 6 p.m.; reserve at www.selectoyster.com. Proceeds benefit child hunger organization No Kid Hungry.

Drinks: Chinatown’s BLR by Shojo (13A Hudson St. at Kneeland Street) launches a cocktail menu, expanding beyond beer, sake, and wine. Oh, and you’re the bartender! Choose from four seasonal liquors ($12) accompanied by a mixer — combine to your heart’s desire. Each drink comes with a homemade sweet to complement the drink. Case in point: Yin for Your Yang, with lemongrass-infused gin, served with a side of chrysanthemum honey tea and yuzu candies.
