Jack D. Bronson, 62, left this world on Dec. 20, 2016 after a brief illness.

He was born on Oct. 1, 1954 in Champion, Ohio to Jack A. and Wilda V. Bronson.

Jack was a retired, third-generation steelworker with most of his career spent at Republic Steel/LTV. Jack loved to golf and was a devoted OSU Buckeye fan. Jack spent many years coaching and umpiring for Medina Youth Baseball League. Jack leaves behind a family of whom he was very proud.

Jack is survived by his wife of 31 years, Christine (nee Hill); daughter, Hannah; son, Jake; sister, Laura (Bob) Hill; mother-in-law, Rosalie Hill; brothers-in-law, Greg (Debbie) Hill, Geff (Debby) Hill, Jerry (Kay) Hill, Rick (Rochelle) Hill, Jerold (Sue) Smith; nieces, Kris (Paul) Kuszmaul, Adrian (Brian) Boysel, Maribeth (Chris) Stahl, Lindsay Hill, Danielle (Ryan) Wehn, Maddy and Cameron Hill; nephews, Walt (Joette) Unks, Christopher (Kelly) Hill, Eric Hill; also numerous grand-nieces and nephews; and best buddy, “Ella.”

The family is forever thankful for the loving care provided by Summa Hospice and Palliative Care, Bridges Home Health Care and Hospice of Medina County.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the charity of your choice.
