Middle schoolers, Celtics have a ball at carnival

Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics hosted a carnival at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center on Thursday to recognize middle school students from Boston and Lawrence who worked hard to improve their grades over the course of the school year. More than 1,000 students attended the event, which featured Boston Celtics dancers, team mascot Lucky the Leprechaun, a performance by the dunk team, carnival games, and plenty of cotton candy and popcorn. Boston Celtics guard Terry Rozier was there for the festivities, as were former players Dana Barros and Leon Powe. Student Rionaldo Volcy beat Rozierin the football toss game. Considering that Rozier was once a quarterback, that’s a pretty impressive feat.
