Florence D. Gulling
Florence D. Gulling, 94, of Medina, passed away Feb. 1, 2018. She was born in Louisville, Ohio, Aug. 3, 1923 to the late Frank and Anne (Miday) Grisez.
Florence graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in Canton in 1944. She married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth, in 1946. While raising seven children she worked as a registered nurse in obstetrics, emergency room and in the industrial setting. Florence was a member of Holy Martyrs Catholic Church in Medina.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Kenneth, in 2017. She is survived by her seven children; daughter Jackie Gulling, son Mike (Kathy) Gulling, daughter Patty (Dr. Terry) Wade, daughter Chris (Rick) Foote, son Jeff (Barb) Gulling, daughter Vicki (Gene) Sulzener and son Matt (Mary) Gulling. She is also survived by her 29 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and her brother-in-law Russ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5075 Windfall Rd., Medina, Ohio, 44256 or a charity of your choice.
